NSAS Seminar Series

This month our guest speaker in the NSAS Seminar Series was Kovi Rose. Kovi is currently studying Radio emissions using the Australian based ASKAP radio array. Kovi and his team have developed new techniques and capabilities to detect new objects previously unknown or understood. This will enable future surveys to be more effective.
These studies included the detection of the coldest brown dwarf to emit radio waves. Kovi was the lead author and PhD student at Sydney University in this study.
Kovi's talk was the last in the NSAS Seminar Series for 2023. A new agenda and topics for 2024 will be published in January.
See Events for more details.
