For this event we will put out a timetable similar to the HVSP where we suggest meeting locations for lunches and dinner but it will be up to you to make the actual reservation at these places. We will also pop up another trip out to Pilliga pottery farm if you would like something a bit different.
We will have some planned activities during the day/night which you can register for on Member jungle ( they will be uploaded as we get confirmations). the activities will hopefully include a tour of siding springs observatory with Australia largest telescope. We are also hoping to organise another guest speaker for the weekend. There will be a trip out to the famous Donna the astronomer again, hopefully on the thursday. This is a great introductory night for beginners who want to know and see whats out there before jumping into the field with their own scopes. On saturday night we will be holding a BBQ dinner for all at the Warrumbunle Mountain motel. These will be free events for our members
This event is free to our members.
We look forward to seeing you there and keep an eye out for registrations to come out in the following weeks. We will open up a chat gorup for the event to keep you updated. Fingers crossed for clear skies and don't forget your thermals and dew heaters it can get a wee bit frosty overnight!
