I plan to talk about my 12v (nominal) Lithium Battery setup(s).
My suggestions on how to wire up a battery with some ideas that have worked for me (fuses, wiring, connectors and battery monitors).
This meeting is not targeted at beginners but beginners are very welcome.
While I focus on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, the same wiring info can apply to Lead Acid batteries (eg. AGM, Gel etc).
Warning – I plan to include a couple of simple formulas but hopefully not enough to put you to sleep.
If you are not a practical person and can not build you own battery setup (or persuade a friend to do it), then the meeting might still arm you with information to help you decide on your own purchase decision.

If you want to think about your own battery setup and bring a question to our meeting, think about how much power you use over a night. (particularly in the middle of winter, in high humidity with your dew controllers running or on a hot summer night with your astro camera trying to maintain your minus something degrees sensor temperature while constantly slewing to image different targets)
— specification sheets or just get some meters and measure the current.
