Sorry but I reckon you’re wrong- the westerly has won over the sea breeze here in Killara. I’ll be there.

PS last two nights were clear here in Killara till after 10.

A shame. I was looking forward to learning Alignment 101 for doing alignments in under 2 hours 😳 and what accuracy to expect from an alignment!!

Somewhat challenged by this process at the moment although maybe I am expecting too much.

Looking forward to the 2017 schedule.

Well I’ll be setting up in the carpark or possibly down the path as I don’t need a car connection.

SkippySky says clear till after midnight which is fine by me.

PS re alignment – I’m taking a 130mm refractor on an altaz GOTO Mount with synscan, if you want to watch that’s fine…

Thanks I will. I have an Celestron 8″ Edge on AVX mount but I must be missing some basics (or practise)

I was out in Manly last night. It was okay. I’ll still head out tonight, too much light pollution here.

You’ll be pleased to know your forecasted cloud cover was accurate and the site was probably 75-85% cover so not a lot of observing going on. I’m interested where you got your cloud cover forecasting data as I have been looking for several months for this.
