Here is my video of the Lunar Eclipse of December 10th 2011. There was patchy cloud for the first part of the partial phase, and then it completely clouded over shortly before totality. However, about 15 minutes after the start of totality, the cloud cleared and I had a great view of the rest of the eclipse.
The eclipse images were shot with a Sony video camera and a Nikon SLR camera with a 300mm lens.

Very nice Peter, I was thwarted in viewing this properly as I had not realaised that the Ecliptic was now so low in the North and we have a very long row of tall grey gums all along the road to the North of us.
I had to walk back and forth looking for breaks in the tree branches that would allow ‘pot shots’ with a X 20 Optical zoom lens. so dd not see totality as by that time the Moon was angled with the Breaks in the trees.
I thought that the Eclipse was much darker than ones I have watched in the past years. I particularly like the “Moon music” that you have used in background.
